Love is

Love is finding the right person for you, love is telling that person you love them, love is then finding out that person is married, love is backing off because you know they will never love you, as the song goes, if you can’t be with the one you love, then love the one your with, you know whom im talking about, i will never be with you, but I will always love you my princess ❤❤❤❤

  1. This is so heartbreaking and beautiful… but love is all around, all of us… we just have to tune into it… and that song is so perfect. It applies to everyone… and especially in times like these… when people’s movements have been restricted all over the world.

We indeed should all love the one(s) we’re with… even if it’s just ourself/ves (and god/”good orderly direction”/the great creative powers of the universe!). Where love is planted, it grows and grows… thanks Andrew, for sharing your poet’s soul. 🌱💛

    Shall we play the song?

“Well there’s a rose in a fisted glove
And the eagle flies with the dove
And if you can’t be with the one you love, honey
Love the one you’re with” (- Crosby, Stills & Nash)

p.s. Wow! I never knew all the lyrics before. They are amazing!

      1. You are *such* a romantic. Driving the WP bloggers frantic. :)) (Do I sound unpedantic? ;))
Seriously though it’s a wild coincidence, I had a composed a poem with a play on a couple of these words in my journal a few days ago – but they are common words enough I ‘spose. :)) It’s the musical way they’re put together here, that creates a flightful transpose.

      2. I have always said that poetry doesn’t come from the heart or mind, it comes from the soul, i hope and wish that you and your family are all keeping safe from this virus, i do care loads for my friends ❤❤
